Trini Bred JA Katana Tops Latin Mania UK Charts

Trini bred JA Katana's track "Move It Slow" featuring Miami based reggaeton artists Adriel and King Nene has shot straight to number one in the Latin Mania UK Charts.This is KatanaThis first number one; has was also named as the artist of the week. “Move It Slow” is one of the tracks featured on the Hard Hitter Riddim which is available for download and will be in stores worldwide from today. "The Hard Hitter Riddim" is a combination of different genres of music; soca, dancehall and UK grime, produced by "JA Katana" and co-produced by the legendary “Kenny Phillips"; producer, arranger and engineer to the soca stars for over the past twenty years. Katana was in Trinidad last year when he worked with the Soca Dancehall Queen Denise “Saucy Wow” Belfon and Macka Diamond on the track "What Girls Like". JA Katana was born in the UK, but grew up in Trinidad, he is one of the original members of local sound system the X-Caliber International Disco. He returned to the UK at the age of 16, there he enrolled in a Sound Engineering and Music Technology school. He then got signed to the BBC, presented where he had his own Dancehall show on BBC 1XTRA. He left the BBC, to set up his own record label Katana House Records.
