Kes the Band, Imij & Company and Destra and Atlantik, are just some of the acts confirmed for Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival 2007. The Bacchanal Jamaica Carnival 2007 season is kicking off in fine style, with the reopening of the Mas Camp Village this Friday February 9th. This year they will be embracing the theme “Island Adventures.”
According to Brianna Rae, public relations executive for Bacchanal Carnival, "The theme encompasses everything one can think of when islands, adventure and excitement come to mind. This will be reflected in the whole vibe, look, and feel of this year's Bacchanal Carnival, beginning with our sexy, colourful costumes. Also, the Mas Camp which will be set up to give that 'wow' effect to patrons".
Rae went on to say, "The appearance of the Mas Camp will be exciting and unconventional. Expect the entertainment line-up for the 2007 season to be better than any other, with more band nights for soca lovers and even surprise guest artistes for some Socacise nights. We're working hard, in partnership with our sponsors, to convert non-soca lovers into fans and remind the revellers why they love the celebration of Carnival in our beautiful island".
