Kanye West added to lineup for Diana concert

Kanye West, Rod Stewart and Lily Allen have been added to the lineup of artists for a summer concert in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales.

The July 1 show at Wembley Stadium also includes Duran Duran, Elton John, Joss Stone and Pharrell Williams.

Princes William and Harry have planned the concert as a tribute to their mother, who died in a car crash in Paris in August 1997.

It marks what would have been her 46th birthday on July 1 as well as the 10th anniversary of her death.

The concert will also include a performance by the English National Ballet and songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber in honour of Diana's love of dancing and theatre, organizers said Thursday.

The concert will benefit charities Diana supported.

A memorial service is planned for Aug. 31, the 10th anniversary of the car crash inside the Pont d'Alma tunnel in Paris that killed Diana, her friend Dodi Fayed and their driver.

A long-delayed inquest into their deaths is scheduled to begin in October.
