Village Cafe in Barbican, Jamaica was a buzz with activity Monday night as Stephen Davis better know as Supa Hype launch his two new riddims "SupaNatural" which is a dancehall riddim and "Kool Runnings" a one drop riddim. Davis also showcase his new rhythms through various young artistes on April 3rd installation of Village Cafe weekly Live music series Mystic Urchins Tuesday Nite Live . Supahype is not strange to success as in 2006 the young producer released his first riddim titled SMASH which tore up the charts with such hits as Tony Matterhorn's "Dutty Wine", Alaine's "You Make Me Weak", Busy Signals's "Lu Lu Lu" , T.O.K's "Haters" and Vybz Kartel's "Tek Buddy Gal". Under his company called Hyperactive entertainment he began to produce riddims such as Kool Runnings, Supanatural, Hypertension and Paradise.
Supahype played host right throughout the Monady night launch party, mingling and chatting with his fellow entertainers and numerous fans which turned out to show their love and support. The night kicked off with Bloodline providing ear candy which had the crowd dancing especially the elegantly dress "uptown" ladies. Classique Int. took over and again got the crowd going until it was time for the big moment, the introduction of the "Supanatural" riddim. Stephen Davis took the stage and introducing his riddims starting of with "Kool Runnings" his one drop riddim which as the name suggest is a very cool and clamming reggae riddim that will will surely have ladies slow whining with their partner in the dancehall. Supa next went to introduce the "Supanatural" his dancehall riddim which features Bad Boy recording artist Elephant man, Vybz Kartel, G.Whizz, Munga, Tyrical, Turbulence, Erup, T.O.K among others. Supahype through his company Hyperactive Entertainment has truly given up coming artists a voice.
