Rootz Underground has just signed with the management team Neil Robertson and Steve Wilson of Mystic Urchin. Charles Lazarus who spoke on behalf of the band said "We recognised that we needed the guidance and expertise of music industry players to step out globally. Neil and Steve see the potential of Rootz and are willing to work with us to get where we want to be. They are the missing element that completes the Rootz Underground team." Meantime, in just 4 weeks Rootz Underground's 'Victims of the System' video has peaked at # 2 on MTV Tempo's "Cross Caribbean Countdown". Their debut album 'Movements' is scheduled to be released in September.
Rootz Underground will be performing on Saturday, May 19th at Danny Boy's Pub in Turks & Caicos for a private exclusive party; the band will then headline Tuesday Nite Live's show on May 22nd at Village Café.
