Elephant Man, Shaggy and Vegas “REGGAEFEST 2007”

Shaggy, Elephant Man,and Vegas are set to perform on this year's first ever biggest Reggae festival dubbed “REGGAEFEST 2007” scheduled for 11th and 12th of August in Accra, this year. This is been organized by the most diversely equipped production house in Ghana now Silicon House Production. Being in the industry for quite some time now, Silicon House Production the organizers can boast of the latest in sound, video and recording equipments. Their area of specialization is conspicuous when demand for complete and richer sound is needed at live shows.

They provide sound reinforcement services for concert and special event that requires high fidelity, full coverage systems. With all this expertise the show promises to course a stir as the biggest event this year. This event is expected to be the first in the history of show business in Ghana for three strong and top Jamaican Reggae artistes to be billed on one show and perform on one stage. For fans of Elephant Man in Ghana this is going to be the first time the dance hall maniac is coming to Ghana to perform live, just as Vegas. Even though this will be the second time Shaggy is performing in Ghana, his coming this time will be devoid of any unnecessary diplomacy for anybody who could want to meet the international Ragga star. This will be a unique opportunity for anybody who couldn’t see Shaggy when he first came to Ghana. Though Shaggy will stop over for a show in Cote D’ Viore on 4th August, they are all expected in Ghana two days before event day. Ghanaian Reggae artistes supporting their Jamaican folks includes: Samini, Wutah, Shasha Marley, Bandana, Black Prophet, King Ayisoba and many more. The second part of this event will be in September when big names like Luciano, Sissla, Marlon Asher (Ganja Farmer), Kenyatta, Etana and other big Jamaica Reggae icons will meet in Ghana together in celebrating the one year demise of Reggae legend Joseph Hill a.k.a Culture.
