Sizzla Kalonji back from Europe

FSizzla Kalonji returned from a wonderful eight week tour in Europe. Accompanied by the Firehouse Band, he awed fans of different nationalities with music from his diverse catalogue. "The tour was beautiful and very successful. All of the venues were full to capacity. The fans were so warm and supportive, each show they were in a frenzy," describes Kalonji.

Riding on the heels of recently released album from Greensleeves entitled I-Space, Sizzla continues to deliver new music on a consistant basis. Last week the album was #3 on the New York Top Reggae Album Charts and number 6 on the Richie B Charts.

"Its an album I have been working on bit by bit. Once I would go overseas, when I would return I would record two or three songs for the project. Its an album naturally done. I love it and I did it for you all," explains Sizzla.Since his return from tour he has appeared on two shows, All Spice and The St. Mary Mi Come From Event. The first one, he was deeply embraced by his fans. The latter was controversial as a result of an altercation with fellow artist.

"Kalonji Records deeply regrets the incident that occurred during The St. Mary Mi Come From Event. The moment did not conform to our standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended especially the fans," expresses Sizzla.

The chain of events were unplanned and inconsistent with a normal stage performance. Sizzla Kalonji maintains a high level of love, commitment, and respect to Reggae music, its associates, and his fans both locally and international.
