Beenie Man is shedule to arrive in Jamaica today and will be met at the Norman Manley International airport by his team of lawyers and maybe police officers excuting a warrant for his arrest. Lawyers for the dancehall artist have been negotiating with the authorities for the deejay’s surrender.

“Yesterday, the lawyers and Beenie Man’s management had been talking with the police to ensure that he would be given a chance to turn himself in and would not be arrested once he arrived at the airport,” Ray Alexander, publicist for the dancehall artist, said.
Beenie Man had been in New York at the time of the court date filming a video for the Paddy Cake single featuring Barbee. The deejay’s single Give It Up featuring Barbee is currently in the number one spot on the Jamaica Music Countdown charts.
