Capleton, Anthony B and Etana Headlines Manhattan Annual Reggae Culture Salute

A trio of culture-conscious reggae artists - Capleton, Anthony B and seductive singer-songwriter Etana - are the stars of the annual Reggae Culture Salute, to be held in Manhattan at Webster Hall, 125 E. 11th St., on Nov. 4.

Reggae Culture Salute is a project of the Coalition to Preserve Reggae Music (CPR) and in keeping with its mandate to raise the bar in the production, marketing and promotion of reggae, a scholarship to support studies by a deserving student at the Jamaica School of Music or the reggae studies program at the University of the West Indies will be launched at Reggae Culture Salute 2007. Contact TSO Productions for more information.

Part of the proceeds from the show - which celebrates the 77th anniversary of the coronation of Ethiopia's Emperor Haile Selassie I and Queen Menen - will go to a student at Jamaica School of Music or the reggae studies program at the University of the West Indies.
