Dancehall sensation Latifa Brown more popularly known as “Tifa”, is getting geared up for her Frosted Birthday Bashment, being held at the Asylum Nite Club this Thursday, December 11, 2008. The event will be a star-studded affair and will feature music from Bloodline, Coppershot and DJ Kurt Riley.
Her hot single “Bottom of the Barrel” has also been taking Tifa to the top of the charts. This smash single on Ward 21’s Estrogen riddim has made its way to the #1 spot on the Trinidadian Reggae/Dancehall Charts and is steadily climbing the musical ladder on local Dancehall Charts.
Tifa, Natalie Storm and Timberlee gave a spectacular performance at the release party for the Federation Sound: TNT 3 The Hard Way CD, in Manhattan, New York. The much anticipated CD was released earlier this month and has been dubbed as the “maddest mix CD ever,” by Federation Sound.
The trio has been busy performing at several events including, Wolmers Barbeque, and are currently gearing up for their debut at Sting 2008. This will be the first time that any of the ladies will be performing at this highly anticipated event, and they promise to deliver to their fans. Tifa’s latest release, “I Want Your Man” on Mario C’s new Goodaz riddim, as well as, “A Wha Do Dem” on Ward 21’s Mad Ting Riddim have also been receiving steady rotation across local airwaves.
