The album, her fourth entitled "Here I Am", is due out on August 7th and will most likely contain 14 songs, although the final track list has not been confirmed. Eve in a recent interview said that her favorite song on the album is the irresistible party song "Give It to Me," which will be the album's second single. The track, also produced by Swizz Beatz, features Sean Paul's dance hall reggae blended with flamenco guitar. Another reggae mix on the album is "Turn Me On" which features reggae superstar Sizzla Kalonji. Eve said that she loves reggae, and that's why she has three songs influenced by the genre on her album.
"Give It To You" featuring Sean Paul, is a breezy, reggae mid-tempo . I hope this is the second single. It's great. Sean Paul makes it even better. It's of a unique mix of Bob Marley styled music and Eve's own hip-hop style. A head bobber. It would be perfect for a day at the beach. There's also a dance break in the middle, which is pretty good.
