Buju Banton and his Shiloh Band will kicked off the Too Bad Canadian Tour on July 6, 2007 at Rum Runners Music Hall in London, Ontario, the first of six dates in the area. This is the first time Banton will tour parts of the country in support of his critically acclaimed Too Bad album, which was released in Canada last October. Gargamel Music artist New Kidz is on deck as the opener.
Gargamel Music is also happy to announce that Buju Banton is the cover subject of Ontario's leading weekly magazine The View. The feature story, written by Brent Hagerman, takes an indepth look at Buju's incredible 15+ year career and his intensely diverse musical contributions that continue to raise the bar for Jamaican music today. The mini Too Bad Canadian Tour, which will initially hit key markets in Ontario and Alberta, is being promoted by Rahim Visram of Ultimate Entertainment www.ultimateentertainment.ca in association with Chris Hines Entertainment. The Toronto date, on Friday, July 13th at Redemption (Koolhaus Entertainment Complex), is being promoted by D'Bandit www.dbandit.com and the Redemption family.
