I continue to hear that Jay-Z is going to leave Def Jam after his contract expires. I heard that it is a "WRAP" at the end of the year. Rumor has it S. Carter Records is getting ready to blast off as soon as their distribution is secured. Rumor has it, the company has already signed artists.
Only thing is, I have never heard of this S. Carter Records! Anyway... LA Reid and Def Jam say that they will do whatever to keep Jay-Z at IDJ (Island Def Jam).
