O'Reilly moves on to Akon. Hip-Hop's most misinformed hater, Bill O'Reilly is at it again. Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" recently featured a segment on "rapper Akorn." "You did some work on this guy Akorn, Ikorn. What corn is this guy, Icon?" O'Reilly sarcastically asked Syndicated Columnist Michelle Malkin. "He's one of the most popular rappers in America right now," Malkin replied while laughing at O'Reilly's inaccuracy.
"He's always at the top of the Billboard Hot Rap Charts and the Pop Charts. He has been for the last year, practically." That Malkin is quite bangable. Too bad she's an idiot. Akon may not be the traditional R&B singer, but he's no rapper. [Watch Video Here] Malkin then bragged about helping get the crooner dropped from Verizon sponsorship. Ok, Akon does have the occasional gun reference and used to push amphetamines, but should his words be perceived as "very explicit lyrics and songs?" Not quite. source: Technorati Cosmos: related links jamaica reggae soca hiphop dancehall caribbean party pop gossip rumours Jamaica/
