Foxy Louis bag with $500 stolen

The tables have turned on hot-headed hip-hopper Foxy Brown - now she's a victim of a punk who stole her purse containing her hearing aid, authorities said.

The raunchy rapper with a penchant for beauty-salon bullying was robbed by a woman yesterday as she wandered around a Brooklyn housing project at 4 a.m., police sources said yesterday - although she denied the incident last night.

The bandit purloined Brown's purse, which contained a few hundred dollars, necklaces and the nearly deaf star's hearing aid, police said.

Roshawn Anthony, 23, of Brooklyn, was arrested last night and will be charged with robbery, according to a source.

It's believed she recog nized the petite song stress and targeted her, said the source.

Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, had just dropped someone off at the Louis H. Pink Houses projects in East New York.

"Why is she out here?" said Victoria Rodriguez, 28, a Pink Houses resident. "She's famous! There's nothing out there good for her."

Brown, reached outside her Brooklyn brownstone, laughed and dismissed reports that she'd been robbed. She called it "a false tip" as she packed up her white SUV to leave for Jamaica to begin a tour.

"I have friends all over Brooklyn but I was not there last night," she said. "I just got back this morning from Miami."

She added, "A lot of the time people mistake me for someone else or people always call in these false tips. I don't know why. I guess it's just part of being a celebrity."

But the Brooklyn DA's Office insists Brown was robbed, and her tormentor was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Sources said cops were hunting for three more people they believe were involved in the alleged robbery.

It's been a tough couple of years for the Brooklyn-born Brown, who rocketed to fame as a teen in the '90s with a string of catchy hits.

Three years ago she told People magazine she had sensorineural hearing loss.

But lately it's not her talent that's kept her in the news - it's her repeated run-ins with the law.

She was arrested in not one, but two beauty-parlor dustups.

Last week, the delinquent diva got three years probation for socking two Chelsea manicurists in a salon in 2004.

She also has charges pending from a Florida incident, in which she's accused of spitting at and flinging hair-extension glue at a beautician.
