Danny English is currently facing a charge of carnal abuse. According to reports, he has been involved with the complainant, sexually, since she was 12, she is now 15 years old. Danny English whose real name is Donald Cox, 36, was arrested last weekend by officers from the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.
Danny English, was denied bail when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday to answer to four counts of carnal abuse and one count of indecent assault.
When he appeared before RM Judith Pusey, on Tuesday July 11th, his lawyer attempted to make a bail application, but was cut denied by the RM due to the length of the alleged relationship the artiste had with the complainant (three years) and the number of times.
The court learnt that English once lived with the complainant's family and still maintained a close relationship with the complainant and her siblings even after he moved from the area. The complainant reportedly visited his house frequently, and it is during these visits that the reported molestation occurred.
RM Pusey set a preliminary enquiry into the matter for July 16 and English will be remanded until this date and he will have his fingerprints taken and also a blood test.
Danny Enlish is known for hit songs in the past which include collaboration with fellow artiste, Egg Nog, titled Party Time.
The Urban Dictionary defines Pedophile as a person who suffers from Pedophilia; that is, an adult who is sexually attracted to children.
Pedophilia is a mental disorder, not a sexual orientation or lifestyle choice. Specifically, it is a Paraphilia. The Paraphilias are characterized by recurrent, intense, sexual urges, fantasies, or behaviors that involve unusual objects, activities, or situations. Other examples of Paraphilias are Exhibitionism, Fetishism, Sexual Masochism, and Sexual Sadism.
Terms like "pedosexual" are misnomers and nothing more than political activism on the part of organized groups of pedophiles attempting to legitimize and legalize their abuse and predation of children.

Their are too many pedophiles in Jamaica. Pedophilia seems to be a very deep in grain problem in Jamaica, which would seem to indicate there is deep mental problem with a majority of the male members of the society. Danny English is only one dot in a very big problem Jamaican's all over the globe are facing. Fathers raping their own daughters, uncles raping their own neices and nephews,they are molested by strangers outside the home, family friends and stepfathers are the worst enemy and grandfathers cannot even be trusted. All this while mothers turn a blind eye or outrightly condone it and even worst blame the child. Jamaican children therefore has no safe haven in or out of their homes. This constant living on the edge by these children is played out in their lack of self esteem. self respect and dis regard for their live's and that of others. They then grow up angry and become disfunctional parents not knowing how to protect their own children, often repeating the same abuse on their own off spring. They are turning up more and more in mental institutions around the world or homeless living on streets. Where or When Will It End? Danny English should be executed because their is no rehabillation for pedophiles. The only solution to this epidemic among Jamaican's is for the justice system to apply the punishment for the crime justly and agressively. The only unfortunately thing with that is their dont seems to be any will among the judiciary to do that because many among them are silent perpitrators of this heinous crime.
