"The Mixtape Messiah," of Houston Chamillionaire in this video get deep on the issues of where he want to. But listening to it this n*gga sounds life a preacher talking bout the values that really matters. Admittedly Chamillionaire is one of the more talented rappers in the rap game certainly coming out of Huston and as he speaks i realized that maybe he was actually looking to change the rapper and not just saying stuff that sound good for the camera.
Chamillionaire arrived late as a major-label artist during his city's 2005 takeover of mainstream rap -- the Top Ten Sound of Revenge, released during November that year, followed albums from Mike Jones, Slim Thug, and former Color Changin' Click partner Paul Wall -- but he had already built a loyal following outside the South and received significant print coverage.
the first official video his new album Ultimate Victory which is profanity-free I must add is “Hip Hop Police”. guests on the new album include: Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Krayzie Bone, Pimp C, Kelis, Slick Rick, Lil’ Wayne, Lloyd, and Famous.
Tracks included:
- 1. “Hip Hop Police” (featuring Slick Rick) (produced by Jonathan Rotem)*
- 2. “Not a Criminal” (featuring Kelis) (produced by Styalz Fuego)*
- 3. “Not a Criminal Pt. II” (featuring Snoop Dogg & Busta Rhymes)*
- 4. “Evening News”
