Sean Kingston was back in his hometown Miami today(Tuesday) shooting the video for his next single, Take You There, off his self-titled debut album.
The video, was shot over 16 hours, and started at 5 a.m. in front of a convenience store and parking lot on Northeast Second Avenue. Other locations included the International Hotel in Miami Beach and a Little Haiti nightclub. The cast and crew was made up of about 150 people.
According to producers, the video is about a Midwestern teenage girl on vacation with her parents in Miami Beach.
''She gets bored watching all the old people play bingo, and Sean Kingston comes and takes her away to bring her to the harder side,'' said line producer Helen S. Joblom.
The ''harder side'' consisted of decked out muscle-cars and motorcycles, children sitting on milk crates outside a convenience store and a sidewalk barbeque.
Kingston wore a hot pink polo shirt and blue jeans to the shoot.
Gil Green, a prominent music video director and Miami Springs native, was directing the video.
Production was handled by 305 Films, a local company that does many of the hip-hop videos shot in Miami
