Mavado, had his mega birthday bash interrupted when a strong contingent of soldiers, police officers and helicopters swooped in and shut it down. The officers searched everyone at the venue.
The event which took place at the historic Temple Hall Estate, was attended by well over 2000 patrons who braved the intermittent rain to show love to Dancehall’s Bad Boy.
The strong presence of Soldiers and Local police, randomly searched patrons of which a few were detained for questioning and later released. Reports state that a fire arm was retrieved from the premise, but no one was held in connection to its find.
However the party continues on December 14th in New York at Club Amazura and will feature Bounty Killa, Munga, Hip Hop Superstar Busta Rymes and Wyclef Jean amongst others.
