PRESSURE & ALAINE TAKE ON THE BIG APPLE IN DECEMBER


Rising Roots Reggae Star Pressure and Reggae Siren Alaine are headed to New York with award-winning Reggae/Dancehall producer Donovan "Don Corleon" Bennett this December to promote the new albums Love and Affection and Sacrifice. Released by Don Corleon Records earlier this month, Pressure's highly anticipated Love and Affection and Alaine's long awaited Sacrifice have been greeted with great response in the U.S. market, particularly New York City, America's Caribbean central.

Culminating with an album release party in the Reggae saturated borough of Brooklyn on December 5 th, Pressure and Alaine will be on a week-long promotional tour from December 2nd – December 9th, making special appearances at radio stations and events throughout the five boroughs.


Hosted by NY's ruling Reggae impresario Johnny Wonder, the star studded album release event will feature DJ Wayne of Jamaica's Irie FM, and a host of NY's biggest sound systems and celebrities celebrating with Pressure, Alaine, and Don Corleon in Brooklyn's popular Track's Café on Wednesday, December 5 th.


U.S. Virgin Island Native Pressure has one of the Year's most anticipated albums, with the title track pounding the Reggae charts in Jamaica, the U.K., U.S., and Canada. Love and Affection also features the singles "Ghetto Life," "Personality," "Never See Me Fall," and "Be Free."


With an angelic face and matching voice, Jamaican singer, songwriter, and actress Alaine's debut album Sacrifice has been long in the making, with hit singles such as "No Ordinary Love,Rise In Love, "Wine," and "Dreaming of You" with the self-proclaimed Dancehall king Beenie Man.
