Appleton Temptation Isle Pretty in PINK [Day Beach Edition]

On August 6 at Appleton Temptation Isle (ATI), DNA's Pretty in Pink will be celebrating its fifth anniversary - marking five years of undisputed success.

"Though each year we strive to make it your summer's best experience, this time around Pretty in Pink is extra special," states Darren Virtue of DNA events.

Adding, "We not only want to toast our achievements, but we also want to celebrate you, our beautiful and loyal patrons."

Over the years, it has been an event whose theme has taken on a life of its own, especially with the ladies; who take the dress theme to the next level, bringing out their most stylish and sexiest pink attire.

Not to be outdone, the men have expressed that 'real men wear pink', and it has proven to be quite true as each year more and more turn out strongly supporting the all-pink theme.

And owing to the high demand by patrons who state 'it's not fair that the pink outfits aren't visible at night in the crowd which makes choosing the most appealing lady in pink as is done over the years, difficult', the event will run from 2 to 10 p.m. on Friday, August 7.

The introduction of this year's 'Pink WOW wear' competition hosted by Ocean Spray, also influenced the change from a night event to a day event. Twenty lucky females will be chosen from the crowd and given 'WOW' wear; the crowd will vote and the winner will then be given a prize. Some of the prizes that patrons will have a chance to win are iPods, Air Jamaica miles and a pink Canon digital camera courtesy of Watt's New.

Jamaica's and the world's most glamorous women dressed in pink are a few of the treats that will be present at DNA's playground.

The Pink Paradise, a DNA event personally designed venue at Cosmo's on the Negril strip, will feature sponsor lounges such as Flow's Paradise Sand lounge, Digicel's VIP Flip it SKY Lounge and the Smoking Beach Lounge.

The ultra-inclusive event will also have fountains of exotic pink speciality drinks and melt-in-your-mouth cotton candy. Also, music is provided by some of Jamaica's best DJs, Richie D, Jazzy T of Renaissance and DJ Kurt Riley and a live performance by Tony 'Mentally Ill' Matterhorn.

The ATI party weekend, brain child of Alex Chin of Absolute Entertainment, will take place on August 5-9 at various venues in Negril.

The Party kicks off on August 5 at the ATI Kick-off at Chances. Other events include Hip Hop Jouvert, Tempted, Pretty in Pink, Rhythm & Booze, ATI Toga Party, Stages, Jokers Wild Colours, Appleton Temptation Live, Wildsides and Fusion.

To access these 11 amazing parties in five days patrons may purchase their tickets or the limited season passes for $9,500 each at Alexxya, Extras, LG Brown Service Station, Genus Pharmacy, White River Texaco, Super Plus Food Stores, Heaven's Texaco Service Station, Envy, Fairview Texaco and Aroma Cafe & Bar.
