Digicel on Wednesday July 1 announced an epic campaign called ‘Flip to Appleton Temptation Isle (ATI) promotion’, in support of the telecoms company partnership with the ultimate party weekend, Appleton Temptation Isle (ATI), which hits the Negril Hip Strip on August 5 – August 9.
The Flip to ATI promotion gives all new and existing Digicel customers who purchase an ATI season band discount on select Digicel flip handsets. How does the promotion work? Customers who purchase an ATI season armband will receive a discount voucher. Voucher gives the customer 25% discount on the purchase of one of the twelve (12) flip handsets included in the promotion. Customers may redeem the vouchers for the 25% discount at any of the nineteen (19) Digi-Centres island wide.
When does the promotion begin? The promotion begins on Thursday July 2, 2009. The promotion ends on Friday July 31, 2009.
After a split, the Alex Chin-led Absolute Entertainment and Appleton Jamaica Rum have come together to stage the 2009 renewal of the largest party weekend and Digicel's Senior Sponsorship Manager Shelly Ann Curran wants everyone “flipping it to ATI”. She said Digicel would be doing some crazy giveaways on high-end flip phones, as well as giving them away at ATI lead up parties and during the weekend.
The company’s senior sponsorship manager Shelly Ann Curran made the announcement at the exclusive media launch of ATI, held at Carlos Cafe, and said that big things are going to be happening in support of the campaign, which boasts energy god Elephant Man as the spokesperson.
“The campaign is a fun and energetic one, so we brought on Elephant Man as the campaign spokesperson because he embodies everything this campaign is about,” said Curran.
With 11 events set to take over Negril's world famous hip-strip, Shelly Ann Curran, senior sponsorships manager at Digicel Jamaica, says they are excited to be partnering with the party series.
“It’s going to be crazy in the Quad Nightclub every Friday, starting this July 3, with our Flip It Fridays. There, we’ll be giving away credit, some hot flip phones, and you can even register for a chance to be in the Digicel VIP down in Negril. We’re also taking Flip It Fridays to Montego Bay to the ATI Pier Pressure parties in Montego Bay.”
Curran did mention that the telecom giant would be present in Negril in a “major and stylish way” as Appleton Temptation Isle treats party lovers with 11 intense events and immerses them in a sea of never-ending Appleton and great music, on the world famous Negril hip-strip.
