Natasja Scrul is dead. The 32-year-old singer died Sunday morning, June 24th, after the motorcar in which she was traveling reportedly got out of control and crashed into a utility pole. The accident happened near Hellshire in St, Catherine, Jamaica, when she was on her way from the Portmore Awards.
Two other persons traveling in the car are hospitalized in serious condition. Scrul, who is from Denmark, earned a chance to get musical spotlight when she won the RED STRIPE IRIE FM BIG BREAK CONTEST last year. Natasja, who was a very popular Reggae Artiste in Denmark, was loved in Jamaica for her unique style and creative lyrics. The Entertainment industry in Jamaica is still in shock from the news as Natasja had performed at the Portmore Awards, just hours before her demise.
