Mavado lost his travel documents as they were taken by the court after his arrest a few weeks ago in connection to a shooting incident that happened last year.
Mavado’s lawyer Antoinette Haughton-Cardenas made a submission to the courts for her client to receive back his travel documents so he can fulfill his contracted dates. We understand that among the items submitted were his contracts, a letter from his manager, and schedule for shows overseas. Mavado now doesn’t have to report to police station but his bail was increased from J$200,000 to J$500,000.
