Telecoms giant Digicel is now on board with the original, and still the best, series of parties in Negril, Appleton Temptation Isle.
The weekend, presented by the Alex Chin-led Absolute Entertainment, will be held in the tourist-laden city in western Jamaica from August 5-9.
With 11 events set to take over Negril's world famous hip-strip, Shelly Ann Curran, senior sponsorships manager at Digicel Jamaica, says they are elated and excited to be partnering with the party series.
"Absolute Entertainment and Appleton is a synergy that only a brand and company like Digicel could complement, and we are more than happy to be involved in such a way with the event. This is the original Negril weekend, and we're elated to be able to partner with ATI," she said.
She continued that, much like Digicel, ATI is an energetic, hip, and "cutting edge" brand, and "it was a no-brainer for us when Alex and Appleton approached us."
The mobile phone company will be rolling out ATI-specific promotions that will be revealed on Wednesday, July 1, when ATI is officially launched at Carlos Café.
"Everyone knows that Digicel is anything but predictable, and we're crafting a promotion that will just blow everyone away. We are the bigger, better network and people expect creativity, fun, energy and value from us, and that's what we're going to be coming with," Curran teased.
"Digicel has always been good to us, and they put their all into anything that they are backing. We know that ATI will have full backing from Digicel, and that they will help us make sure that ATI is the bigger, better weekend in Negril," said Alex Chin, head of Absolute Entertainment.
Curran did mention that Digicel would be present at the ATI lead- up events in and outside of Kingston, as well as having a "major and stylish presence during the ATI weekend in Negril. We're coming with the best as usual, and we challenge patrons of ATI to expect more from us, because we're definitely giving more."
