Lupe Is Still “Cool” At The Top Of The Hip Hop Charts

Lupe Fiasco’s “The Cool” keeps chugging along. The album held down Billboard’s #1 spot on the rap charts for the fourth straight week, moving another 20,400 copies, bringing his total sales up to 249,700. “The Cool” is #17 overall on the Billboard charts.



Kanye West’s “Graduation” moves back into the #2 spot, continuing to create distance between itself and 50 Cent’s “Curtis.” “Graduation” scanned another 17,900 as it inched closer to double platinum at 1,932,500. Meanwhile “Curtis” came it at #7 on the rap charts with 8,700 moved, bringing its total to 1,245,800.




Jay-Z’s “American Gangster” holds down the #3 spot with another 17,300. The album is just short of platinum with 928,300.



Scarface’s “Made” and Wu-Tang Clan’s “8 Diagrams” have sold virtually the same amount, and come in at #8 and #9 respectively. “Made” has moved 139,400 while “8 Diagrams” has done 139,800



mpressively, DJ Drama’s lightly promoted “Gangsta Grillz” rounds out the top ten for the second straight week, selling another 7,100. “Gangsta Grillz” is up to 114,700 to date.
